JD: Project Description Subject matter expert (SME) for Security Tool Sets. Responsible of working with Optum Care Security Teams to implement new software, policy configurations and settings. Will Evaluate and recommend security controls and tooling for on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities - Evaluate vulnerabilities that exist and make recommendations for remediation - Ensure day-to-day operational tasks are performed and security metrics are relevant and current - Maintain expertise in the area of Information Security, including industry trends, strategies, vulnerabilities and threats to ensure the company's assets are effectively and appropriately secured. - Participate in security incident response processes on a per-occurrence basis - Develop information security best practices for various organizations, with special needs in application security, cloud security and disaster recovery - Monitor the organization's networks and work with 3rd parties to analyze non-standard traffic and changes, and respond to security breaches and incidents - Install and configure security software. This includes, but is not limited to firewalls, network devices, device control, application control, patch management, vulnerability scanning, monitoring applications (network and host-based), system backup and recovery/disaster recovery and antivirus - Report on information security metrics including but not limited to vulnerabilities, viruses, unique traffic and resource usage, security software adherence and asset management Skills Must have Network/Application/System Vulnerability and threat management experience Experience Experience with cyber security standards/organizations (such as ITIL, NIST, COBIT, IETF, IEEE) CISSP, CISA, SANS/GIAC Cybersecurity Certifications.
