| Hi All, Title: Senior Network Engineer III Location: Saint Louis, MO (Hybrid) Job Duration: 6+ Months Interview: Virtual Locals Only We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Engineer III to join our dynamic team. As a Network Engineer III, you will play a critical role in planning, implementing, and optimizing enterprise networks and associated hardware and software. Your expertise will be instrumental in designing network architecture, assessing existing technologies for performance gaps, and ensuring the establishment of robust security measures. Responsibilities: Network Infrastructure Planning and Implementation: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document enterprise-level network architecture. Implement and configure network hardware and software components, including routers, switches, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems. Test and fine-tune security devices and systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability. Program and manage routers and switches to meet network requirements. Performance and Capacity Assessment: Conduct assessments on existing technologies to identify performance and capacity gaps in the network infrastructure. Provide recommendations for optimizing network performance and enhancing capacity to meet growing demands. Security and Connectivity: Establish and maintain security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard network integrity and data. Define connectivity and access parameters to ensure proper network access for authorized users. Communication Technologies: Implement and manage data and voice communication technologies to facilitate seamless communication across the organization. Network Services Management: Manage network services throughout the planning, implementation, and maintenance phases. Ensure all network-related projects are executed effectively and meet established timelines. Requirements: Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering, with a focus on enterprise-level networks. Technical Expertise: Solid knowledge of routing protocols, network hardware, and software. Experience with Cisco and Juniper equipment is essential. Familiarity with Arista, Versa, or Palo Alto is a plus. Security and SD-WAN: Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing security technologies, including firewalls and intrusion detection systems. Any SD-WAN experience will be considered an advantage. Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python and automation tools like Robot Framework, TestRail, or other test automation for software/hardware certification is a plus. Problem-Solving and Communication: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex network challenges. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
