The need to be from within the last three jobs (Vendor requires a valid Professional email id, he will not reach out to them) Job Responsibilities: The client is seeking two contractor Functional Testers for a Cyber HR QA Project. Job Summary: As part of the Public Safety Payroll Solution (PSPS) project, the Payroll Tester will focus on all aspects of Quality Assurance, including Test Planning, Test Scenario Documentation, Test Execution, Defect documentation, Communication with developers and assist in resolving defects. Experience number of years performing similar tasks, in similar role: 2+ Job Responsibilities: The functional tester will be able to write a test plan based upon requirements, develop test scripts, perform testing, and assist in the training of end users or testers and will have deep knowledge in software testing methodology and the system development life cycle. Responsible to independently execute system and integration test scripts. Responsible for documenting defects identified during testing, working with application development teams to resolve, and retest the defect until resolved. Participation in design specification reviews and technical documentation reviews is essential to perform these duties. Deliver weekly reports showing progress against outstanding testing milestones, issues, risks and dependencies Requirements: Ability to prioritize tasks and to work effectively with minimal supervision Demonstrates solid in written and oral communications Strong written and verbal communications skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent time management skills Strong knowledge of system testing best practices and methodologies Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment Organized and detail-oriented; able to effectively perform multiple/concurrent tasks within deadlines in a dynamic environment Ability to work on-site at a city facility Must be able to pass a background check Preferred: Familiar with Public Safety / Civil Service contracts and policy guidelines Experience in Time & Labor, and Payroll functionalities Experience in testing PeopleSoft applications Experience in UKG TeleStaff and UKG Dimension applications Experience in automated functional testing Excellent MS Office skills Keywords: quality analyst green card microsoft Idaho |
