This is a long-term opportunity. The opportunity requires the candidate to be able to work in HYBRID Fashion at the Clients Central Office located in Richmond, VA with work at least 2-3 days/per week on-site, subject to change at Manager's discretion. Must have 5+ Years of Experience in enterprise-level application design and integration 5+ Years of Experience in cloud application (Azure/AWS) /GIS architecture 5+ Years of Experience in SaaS (Software as a Service) architecture 5+ Years of Experience with integration/SAFe architecture and proven work experience with Agile/Scrum teams 1+ Years of Experience with Spatial Architecture (ArcGIS specifically) 5+ Years of Experience with XML constructs and schemas. 5+ Years of Experience with API protocols and schemas such as SOAP and REST Job Responsibilities Create overall application and solution architectures, component designs, systems integration and implementations for a particular business solution. Lead efforts in defining, documenting, and estimating the following for enterprise applications. Capture requirements for data, workflow, logical processes, hardware, operating system environment, on-prem, hybrid, and cloud topologies, interfaces with other systems, internal and external checks and controls, system inputs, and output. Collaborate with other IT staff to assess business needs and requirements and translate them into automated solutions Produce relevant solution design artifacts including but not limited to technical estimates, conceptual, logical, and physical system designs, sequence diagrams, and data models Coordinate new system development to ensure it is consistent and well-integrated with existing application systems and COTS solutions Analyze and estimate feasibility and compatibility with hardware and other programs, and will consult with clients to prototype architect, and design applications to meet needs. Collaborate with Business areas and cross-functional Enterprise Architects to fully understand business needs and provide strategic consultation Partner with architects, other technical team members and to develop roadmaps and strategies to support agency KPIs Design/Implement Enterprise Security/technology Patterns Consult with teams as needed on initiatives and provide tactical direction as well as provide architecture considerations on legacy solutions Preferred: Experience with Spatial Architecture (ArcGIS specifically) is a BIG PLUS. Knowledge of relational database design and management techniques. Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
