We have an immediate opening for the below position with one of our premium clients. Job Title: Sr. Business Process Consultant with medical & health experience Work Location: Tallahassee, FL. (Day one onsite) Duration: Long term Qualifications & Experience: Ten years of experience with the Microsoft Office suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Ten years of experience managing projects, with ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline. Ten years of experience in informatics, including familiarity with standardized vocabulary, interoperability between systems, and a general understanding of how informatics supports public health surveillance. Ten years of experience working with users and subject matter experts to document existing processes Scope of Work: Eight years of experience with business processes in the medical field, health information management systems, and electronic health records in the last ten years. Two years of experience serving as a project manager for informatics projects that involve HIE and other electronic health record national networks, including the eHealth Exchange and Care Quality. One year of experience serving as a project manager for the development and integration of data into an MPI. Completion of Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate preferred. Responsibilities: Weekly, and at the direction of the Department, participate in and provide consultation during regularly scheduled public health informatics calls and meetings related to HIE, MPI and national network integration into Merlin. Weekly, and at the direction of the Department, provide consultation to technical staff, program management, system developers and other stakeholders related to data transmission and workflow to support integration between Merlin, the HIE, and national network. Monthly, and at the direction of the Department, identify novel approaches to improve data sharing, data linking, and interoperability between Merlin and the Health Management System (HMS). Monthly, and at the direction of the Department, develop and maintain project artifacts and documentation related to the statewide HIE, Florida MPI, national network, and integration into Merlin. Data security and confidentiality task: The Contractor, its employees, subcontractors, and agents must comply at all times with all Department data security procedures and policies in the performance of this scope of work as specified in the Data Security and Confidentially document attached to the purchase order.
