Currently an enterprise-wide Tableau user, our client will be making aswitch to Power BI across the organization as the new business tool, and is in need of a Senior Power BI Engineer to join their Workforce Strategy and Analytics team specifically. This Consultant will be assisting with/must have experience with: Provide expertise in Power BI for a team that historically utilizes Tableau as their business and dashboarding tool. Assist with the merge of 15 workbooks and tools from tableau to Power BI Build dashboards, data fields (within SQL), tables, etc. Merge/transform data. This goes beyond simply staging data. This consultant will be tasked with completely rebuilding while impacting the program with data visualization practices and strategies. While this Consultant does not need to be an "educator", they may be asked to assist in sharing subject matter expertise to the team regarding Power BI. Experience with SQL and SSIS is required as they will be utilized. Share new concepts, ideas and strategies to team during team/leadership meetings. This may require developing draft dashboards and processes to demonstrate in real time during meetings in an effort to identify more efficient practices within Power BI. Creativity is a must here. Experience working within the healthcare community is not required, but experience working within a Human Resources department/network is highly preferred. The data within this team is focused on people. Tableau experience is preferred, but not required. Experience with Agile methodology preferred. While there are components tothis role that requireheads down work, the majority of this position will bewithin a highlycommunicative environment where collaboration will be required.Our client ismigrating to Tableau Reader for an extended period of time, whichwill provide abuffer for the transition to Power BI.
