The IT Supply Chain organization is seeking an IT Lead to support advanced planning related applications, initiatives and programs for multiple Medical Devices franchises: The IT Lead will own the functional build activities associated with the implementation of enhancements, upgrades, and integrations for our portfolio of Global Advanced Planning and Scheduling as well as legacy ERP solutions. Primary responsibilities include: Delivery and build of small to large advanced planning related projects that meet partner requirements, are on-time, and on-budget. Design and Deployment of IT solutions in SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), JDE, Manugistics, OM Partners Planning projects Support the Supply Chain End-to-End product flows Provide critical issue support and the integration of the platforms with SAP, S/4 HANA, APO, JDE, OM Partners, Manugistics and other legacy systems Responsible for management of the various IT BUILD contractors. Partners with the technical team to ensure that RICEF's developed meet the user and functional specifications. Ensure alignment to J&J standards (SDLC, CSV). Acts as level (3) support for advanced planning applications and advanced planning ERP functionality. Act as SME to offer solutions, recommendations, workarounds and testing options for business challenges enabled by technology. Acts as the contact point for all critical or escalated technology issues related to the advanced planning service portfolio. Key Responsibilities: Leads Design and Delivery of SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), JDE, Manugistics, OM Partners (OMP) solutions. Responsible for reviewing user stories, preparing user story functional document specifications, review technical specifications and coordinate required development activities. Leads the creation or modification of system specifications or test scripts to complete project implementation. Configure SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), JDE. Manugistics, OM Partners systems with the functionality defined in the business requirements and participate in integration and user acceptance testing of RICEFs. Leads the assessment of the technical feasibility of proposed solutions and provides appropriate recommendations based on industry trends and existing design. Manage the IT budget for the delivery of the service and be responsible for reporting on service performance to leadership and customers. Captures customer insights to improve Supply Chain Planning projects throughout design & delivery and delivers continuous improvement recommendations to service owners. Conduct impact analysis on process/tools coming from new/enhanced services. Performs assessments of customer demand and partners with order analysts to deliver estimates and quotes for Business Unit IT and Business partners. Lead all aspects of vendor relations and services. Develop service improvement plans and/or run service improvement initiatives. Perform industry benchmarking to identify external and internal trends and innovation related to the service strategy and design. Interact with multi-functional teams, including ADEPT services, to ensure complete delivery of solutions. Collaborate and Integrate with Release Planning and Management services and platforms. Qualifications Required: A bachelors degree is required, preferably in Information Technology or related field A minimum of 3 years of Information Technology experience A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in advanced planning applications such as SAP Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO), JDE, Manugistics, OM Partners (OMP) or similar experience Solid understanding of the service lifecycle with the ability to plan for and execute end to end Proven background in work estimation, and execution to facilitate scope estimation Demonstrated understanding of Supply Chain business processes Ability to lead a professional team and external consultants Problem solving and process improvement skills Broad in-depth knowledge of Planning business processes and integration with SAP, JDE and Non SAP Systems while following approved J&J standard policies and procedures (e.g. SDLC, Agile, IAPP, etc.).. Preferred: Experience supporting businesses within Medical Device is highly desirable. Solid background in work estimation, and execution to facilitate scope estimation. Deep understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC processes. Possesses capability to solve sophisticated business problems and present recommendations to management effectively. Possesses good planning, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills. Ability to define, shape, and drive projects to completion while effectively collaborating strategically with others with little supervision.
