Proficiency in SCCM/MECM, PatchMyPC, MS Studio, and PowerShell is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and security of our Windows endpoints Job Description: Description Client is currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced Windows Endpoint Engineer to join their Deskside team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling the patching, imaging, and application packaging tasks for Windows laptops and desktops. Proficiency in SCCM/MECM, PatchMyPC, MS Studio, and PowerShell is crucial for ensuring the optimal performance and security of our Windows endpoints. Responsibilities: Perform regular patching of Windows laptops and desktops using SCCM/MECM to ensure that all devices are up to date with the n-1 security patches and software updates. Develop and maintain Windows images for laptops and desktops, ensuring consistency and standardization across the organization. Package and deploy applications using SCCM/MECM, ensuring proper testing and compatibility with the Windows endpoints. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and troubleshoot issues related to Windows endpoint management. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate routine tasks and improve efficiency in patching, imaging, and application packaging processes. Monitor and maintain the health and performance of Windows endpoints, proactively addressing any issues that may arise. Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies related to Windows endpoint management. Skills and Qualifications: Solid experience in Windows endpoint management, including patching, imaging, and application packaging. Proficiency in SCCM/MECM (System Center Configuration Manager/Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) for Windows endpoint management. Strong knowledge of PatchMyPC or similar software for automated patching of third-party applications. Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio for application packaging and deployment. Advanced scripting skills in PowerShell to automate tasks and improve efficiency. Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and architecture. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows endpoints. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
