JOB DESCRIPTION: Title- Data Analyst Location- Remote Contract Client- Incture Exp- 4-6 Years Rate- $35.00 Per Hour Note:- For the position we will need to search for few key things if the expectation from the person is to work on master data conversion project as analyst for SAP ERP migration project. We will need candidate to have atleast some of these exposure- SAP master data understanding and in this case, it is mostly SAP Finance(but if we dont get, we can still try with other SAP master data) Some exposure to migration of legacy system to SAP ERPs i.e vendor, item, customer data migration etc. In SAP world codes like LSMC or LTMC exists that support these master data migrations.. Job Description - Tasks: ( Responsibilities) Create load files for financial master data elements GL Accounts, cost centers, internal orders, WBS Elements, SKFs, etc. This includes hierarchies, master data and attributes, and any groups needed. Manage updates to mapping from combination of old master data elements to combination of new master data elements. Assist in identifying new and retired master data elements between test cycles. Resolve load issues and work with cross functional groups to improve master data with each mock cutover. Relevant experience: Experiencing migrating master data from a legacy ERP to and SAP ERP, including data extraction, data cleansing, mapping, transformation, and validation. Experience preparing load files for master data and hierarchies. Experience in master data analysis, including identifying data quality issues, performing data profiling, and conducting data validation checks. Required skills: Ability to use SAP to extract active master data and troubleshoot master data usage. Understanding of financial data objects, data attributes, relationships, and hierarchies within SAP. Understanding data governance principles and best practices in order to maintain data integrity, quality, and consistency. Problem-Solving: The ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues is essential. This involves analyzing error messages, identifying root causes, and implementing appropriate solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams, business users, IT teams, and external consultants to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure smooth data migration. Excel proficiency; pivot tables, xlookup, filtering, conditional formatting, removing duplicates, sorting. Comfortable with ambiguity Curiosity, being comfortable with questions and voicing concerns Bonus skills Experience with SAP S4 HANA Experience with Smartsheet and/or Azure Dev Ops Advanced formula driven Excel skills -- Keywords: sfour information technology |
