As an SME, you will be responsible for leveraging your expertise in BI development and reporting tools to design, develop, and implement robust data solutions that enable effective decision-making and insights. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful integration and utilization of BI capabilities within the MS Dynamics 365 environment. Responsibilities: 1. Create, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards, transforming complex data sets into clear, actionable insights. 2. Leverage D365 CRM and F&O for efficient data analysis, management, and reporting. 3. Collaborate with stakeholders, including the Maryland State Treasurer's Office personnel and project team members, to understand reporting requirements and business needs. 4. Conduct comprehensive data analysis and gather reporting requirements to design scalable and efficient BI solutions within the MS Dynamics 365 environment. 5. Design and build interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide meaningful insights and enable data-driven decision-making. 6. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency by implementing proper data governance and quality control measures. 7. Collaborate with technical teams to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into the BI platform, ensuring optimal performance and data availability. 8. Optimize and fine-tune BI solutions to improve performance, responsiveness, and user experience. 9. Provide expertise in data visualization best practices, ensuring reports and dashboards are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet end-user requirements. 10. Conduct training sessions and provide support to end-users, enabling them to leverage the BI platform effectively and derive actionable insights. 11. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in BI technologies, tools, and methodologies, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. 2. Proven experience (at least 7 years) as a Business Intelligence Developer, Reporting Analyst, or similar role, preferably in projects involving MS Dynamics 365 implementations. 3. Strong expertise in Power BI and D365 CRM and F&O. 4. Excellent data visualization and storytelling skills. 5. Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and data warehouse architectures. 6. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and multidimensional databases (e.g., Microsoft Analysis Services). 7. Familiarity with MS Dynamics 365 and its data structure, entities, and integration capabilities. 8. Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices. 9. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical BI solutions. 10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. 11.
