Job Title: Enterprise Architect Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid) Duration: 6+ months Visa Type- No H1B Job Description:- Project Description The Judicial Branch Information Technology Division (ITD) is seeking an Enterprise Architect to develop a comprehensive statewide analysis of the site-based centralized Data Center relocation, which service all Judicial Branch locations including courthouses, division offices, and a and make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies, and to serve as an independent technical expert/resource to assist the Branch in developing relocation strategies (from a technical architect standpoint) Scope of Services The ideal candidate will be able to contribute immediately to the following areas: Structure and complete a comprehensive analysis of current call center operations in use within the Branch environment Provide Technical expertise and insight into DATA center technologies appropriate for use within the current Branch environment Assist ITD in the formulation of tactical and strategic plans related to Branch DATA center operations. Assist with effective troubleshooting and problem resolution as needed Providing technical analysis, integration expertise, and critical data analysis related to system architecture in alignment with overall data center strategy Maintaining a functional relationship with multi-disciplinary teams to support overall resource efficiency Performing infrastructure design, strategy, and services and participating in the implementation of computer system, network, storage, database, application and security infrastructure Researching and analyzing new technologies, materials, construction methods, and environmental impact Identifying installation solutions for new databases Determining the requirements for a new database Publishing and/or presenting design reports Identifying areas for improvement in current systems Coordinating with other team members to reach project milestones and deadlines Auditing database regularly to maintain quality Creating systems to keep data secure Minimum Qualifications In addition to the standard skills and experience for the job class, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: General Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Analysis, Data Center relocation and design, inclusive of systems design, Operations Systems Support (OSS), and systems management Strong knowledge of IT data engineering principles, including network analysis, data center design, data strategy, and other responsibilities Proven history of providing expert advice on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Data, OSS and networking Experience analyzing business processes, data, and requirements to identify opportunities for optimization and automation Experience in project planning with cross-functional teams to help design, develop, and deploy reliable data center solutions that meet the Branchs business needs Experience working with state agencies or other large governmental organization preferred Timetable A duty station will be assigned at ITD in East Hartford, with opportunities for remote work and a flexible work schedule Keywords: information technology Connecticut |
