Role: Senior Automation Engineer / SDET Location: Hybrid in San Leandro, CA (3 days a week) Duration: Contract Job Description: Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Automation engineer Strong knowledge in Cucumber & JavaScript automation (JavaScript coding experience) Strong knowledge in Cucumber & Java automation, ready to work with JavaScript Experience with UIAutomator, Espresso and XCUITest Experience with GitHub version control and collaboration tool Experience with JIRA/Confluence tool Good selenium error debugging skill Strong in BDD concepts and hands on experience in Cucumber framework Strong Understanding in Agile Process Mobile/ Web testing Appium/Selenium with any cloud services (Browser Stack, Perfecto, Saucelabs) Exposure to Applitools, JIRA integration (plug-ins like Assert That BDD, Zephyr, X-ray) Deliver a robust automation framework built upon established and proven open-source tools and strong experience on Service layer testing) to support Agile/Scrum development, DevOps, and CI/CD Design and architect modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy client requirements. Provides automation expertise, training and coaching to team members. Keep current with advances in automation methodologies and tools. Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration software Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work on multiple projects and manage a dynamic working environment. What are the top 3 skills required for this role Selenium with Java BDD/Cucumber with Java and/or Javascript Mobile testing with Appium. Candidate should know JavaScript or ready to work with Javascript For Technical interview Candidate needs to share video, ID like DL or State ID and screen for coding tests on notepad, eclipse. Candidate needs to login from personal laptop/desktop PC. Candidates using Mac should configure their system upfront so that they can share screen in Teams meeting.
