Local candidates or near BY Experience working in an energy/oil/gas/utilities company is a must PV can ask for references Skills & Requirements The AMI Meter Installation Issues Group is looking for a temporary resource to support the team in reviewing meter installation issues from Smart Meter deployment. The candidate must have field experience on the installation of electric and/or gas meters. Excel is the primary application used. Therefore, it is essential that the candidate has working knowledge of excel and other Microsoft applications. They must be able to learn the various work management programs used by the team. The candidate must be able to perform repetitive work reviews and analyze large data sets in excel. Basic training on the use of excel will not be provided as the applicant is expected to be proficient. The candidate must be self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as on a team. They are to learn the functions of AMI and the legacy applications used by the team with proper training and be able to communicate with end user customers to resolve issues, gaps and review data. The candidate will be interacting with other vendors on the MIIG team. Skills and Abilities Agile, self-motivated learner Produce high quality of work and checks work frequently Must be able to work in a team and as an individual contributor Must have strong communication skills with all stakeholders (verbal and written) o Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and potential resolution paths o Ability to draft documents, o Develop and deliver presentations to communicate status, work scope and workflow The following are not required for this position but would be considered as a valuable asset in a potential candidate. Additional Skills Preferred Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree and 2 years relevant field experience GED/ Associates Degree and 5 years relevant field experience Assignment Details Candidate will be responsible for performing work reviews, and generation of work orders for meter installation issues found by various smart meter deployment groups.
