They want resources who can adapt to the environment and team quickly JOB SUMMARY: The Cloud Engineer will participate in the design, implementation, and management of cloud-based workloads. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in AWS cloud services, including but not limited to IaC, S3, RDS, DevSecOps and third-party integrations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions using appropriate AWS services. Work with cross functional teams to plan migration of on-premise workloads to AWS. Deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and VPCs. Automate tasks and processes using AWS services. Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and applications to ensure high availability, reliability, and security. Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand workload requirements and provide technical solutions. Continuously evaluate and improve the performance, security, and cost efficiency of cloud infrastructure. Define, maintain, and update tagging strategy. Maintain environment documentation and runbooks. Design and implement business continuity policies for AWS workloads. Customer Service and Communication Skills. Regular, predictable attendance. JOB SPECIFICATIONS: Physical demands: Normal vision/hearing with or without correction; Reading; Speaking; Overnight travel; Driving a car. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. At least 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a focus on AWS services. In-depth knowledge of AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC, and experience with cloud security, automation, and monitoring tools. Experience with on-premises to cloud migration projects. AWS Certifications a plus. Ability to write and maintain scripts using languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
