Role: GCP Infrastructure Engineer Location: Remote Duration: Long term Job Description: Kubernetes and GCP certified. SME in GCP & Kubernetes Infrastructure automation expert IAC (Terraform) Network: Load balancer, VPC, Fire Walls, DNS Build out Kubernetes cluster. Provision of any of the services by using IAC Troubleshooting any issues that may come up during deployment. Work with Development & DevOps to build the CICD pipeline. Performance tuning (Autoscaling in Kubernetes (Horizontal & Vertical Scaling) Setup the monitoring before deployment GCP Monitoring tools using New Relic to set up monitoring and alerts. Automation where needed. GCP cost optimization SME Deploying and managing applications in a GKE environment Building and maintaining Docker containers Monitoring and troubleshooting of Kubernetes clusters. Writing automation scripts and tools to manage the GCP infrastructure using IAC/terraform. Good Understanding of Cloud Infrastructure concepts and data center load balancing technologies, Networking and TCP/IP Server hardware configuration, and Standard Internet services, such as DNS, Load balancers(GCP RELATED), etc. In-depth Knowledge of GCP services like GCE/GCS/BQ/SQL and NO-SQL DB/FIREBASE/Cloud PUBSUB/CLOUD FUNCTION/CLOUD KMS/SECRETMANAGER. Able to set up monitoring alerts and dashboards using New Relic/GCP Cloud monitoring and logging.
