Position : Network Engineer - Strong Aruba, No H1B Location: Ideally in MN, WI, IA or IL. Will need to travel to Warroad, MN and fly out of St. Paul airport (private plane) Duration: Long Term MOI: Phone and Video Immediate need for an Aruba Network Engineer. This is a remote position with some travel to Northern MN. Will be responsible for design, implementation, management and maintenance of wired and wireless networks in Aruba. Need to have Aruba Central and Aruba ClearPass exp. ***Must have strong experience with implementation of wired/wireless network in Aruba! Summary: The Senior Network Engineer position is responsible for maintaining and administering our company's IT networks. This includes designing and engineering solutions for critical infrastructure initiatives to develop and maintain a vision for the corporate Network infrastructure. Work with team members and local site administrators to implement an Aruba wired/wireless networking environment. This positions main responsibilities will be responsible for design, implementation, management and maintenance of wired and wireless networks Aruba as well as provide support as needed during escalations and implementations. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Design, implement, manage and maintain wired and wireless networks with Aruba Central Work as SME for wireless implementations across the organization. Provide technical direction and support related to the enterprise network structure. Collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze and validate the information needs and functional requirements. Protecting the environment by coordinating, planning and implementing network security measures. Work with technology vendors to provide solutions that are effective for the enterprise. Provide technical leadership for deployment and support teams. Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made. Ensure stability in the production environment before, during, and after system changes. Develop and maintain effective cross functional working relationships with business and IT teams Provide 3rd level support as needed. Flexibility to work varied schedules, including occasionally outside of normal business hours. Required Skills: Strong understanding of Network security and wireless network engineering Experience in Network Segmentation Experience with Aruba Central and ClearPass Previous wireless implementation experience, specifically with Aruba Serve as subject matter expert for company initiatives that require guidance with network requirements. Enterprise level networking knowledge with multiple locations distributed throughout the country. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation for design and planning wired/wireless network systems. Configuring switching and wireless to maximize network efficiency and security. Must be able to work effectively with a variety of people, teams and business units to ensure their wireless, Storage and backup needs are met. Strong work ethic, demonstrated self-starter, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, with strong verbal and written communication skills. Required Technologies: Wired/Wireless Aruba Management/Software Aruba Central/ClearPass Education and Experience: Bachelors in IT networking, or other closely related engineering field or the equivalent amount of related work experience. 3+ years as a Network Engineer with responsibility in Aruba wireless and Aruba switching LAN technologies Keywords: information technology Illinois Iowa Minnesota Wisconsin |
