Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps strategies, processes, and tools, promoting the adoption of containerization and orchestration technologies. Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform to ensure consistent and reproducible deployments. Design and implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for containerized applications, integrating automated testing, deployment automation, and rollbacks Configure and manage monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions specific to EKS and containerized environments, using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability within EKS, leveraging features like autoscaling, load balancing, and resource optimization Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with security best practices and implement robust security measures within the EKS infrastructure. Drive incident response and troubleshooting activities within EKS environments, including root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, and the development of remediation plans. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a DevOps Architect with expertise in AWS infrastructure and extensive knowledge of Amazon EKS. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, and Lambda. In-depth understanding of EKS, including cluster provisioning, configuration, scaling, networking, and security. Proficiency in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines for containerized applications, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, or Ansible Familiarity with containerization technologies and orchestration frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes. Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, including configuration management, automated testing, and deployment automation. Experience with monitoring and observability tools, such as AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack, within EKS environments. Familiarity with security best practices in AWS and EKS, including IAM roles and policies, network security, and encryption mechanisms.
