Job Title - Senior Infrastructure Engineer Job Location Nashville, TN ( Hybrid - 3 days a week in office) Duration 6 Months Visa NO H1 CPT OPT Interview Virtual Client Details UBS Onsite role, Mon-Fri 9 am-5pm, no on-calls or weekends small team, 3 people globally looking for candidates with strong Azure experience (Azure DevOps, Service Bus, Event Hub), several candidates were rejected due to being very AWS focused even though had some experience with Azure as well looking for very strong Kafka background, basics or some experience will not work (candidate accepted for CLI had a role of Infrastructure Engineer/Kafka Engineer, Kafka Developer) max 2 CLIs The key responsibilities are: Develop and improve infrastructure services in the messaging and event arenas Provide infrastructure services that are easy to consume and efficient to operate, making effective use of cloud capabilities (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) Apply a broad range of engineering practices, from analyzing requirements and developing new features to automated testing, deployment, and operations Conduct reviews and engineer / test software as needed, along with participating in application architecture and design and other phases of SDLC Ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of solutions by applying our digital principles and implementing both functional and non-functional requirements Build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues. Learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind Skills must have: Ideally 5 + years of experience as infrastructure engineer focused on messaging infrastructure In depth knowledge of the deployment and use of Kafka Experience with Azure Cloud solution, Azure DevOps, Azure Event Hubs and Service Bus Basic Shell scripting skills Strong communicator, able to explain technology to non-technical audiences Fluent in English Nice to have: Bachelor or master's degree or equivalent focusing on development, curation and deployment of messaging infrastructure Experience with Java and Spring boot Experience with Kubernetes and GitLab Keywords: access management trade national Tennessee |
