Role:- System Engineer Duration:- 6 months contract Location:- Boston, MA Interview:- Phone/Video Job Description: Our client, a large professional services firm located in Boston, MA, is looking to hire a Network/Systems Engineer for a 6-month onsite contract position. The Engineer will be supporting an existing commercial customer in the financial services space. The Engineer will work as part of the customers collaborative IT team, responsible for maintaining and administering enterprise systems and networks along with supporting all end-user devices. The consultant will be responsible for effectively engaging with team members and vendors, providing subject matter expertise on network and infrastructure systems, while supporting and resolving issues in a timely manner. The consultant will be responsible for all network hardware components including maintenance of computer networks, hardware, software, and other related systems. The consultant will support all systems and applications and provide Level 1-3 support throughout the firm. Part of the role will be also providing periodic after-hours support for scheduled maintenance activities and emergency support as needed.
