Position: Product Owner Location: Remote Duration: 6+ Months Mode of Interview: Phone and Video Job Description: As a part of the Product team, you will be responsible for several products in your department. You will be in constant communications with clients on anything product related, including development progress, deliverables and timelines. You will lead grooming sessions, execute product demos, and walk throughs. You are an expert in your areas product features, capabilities and functionality. You will be a consultant on new multi-product initiatives or programs. You will be a mentor to product specialists. Essential Responsibilities Experience in managing the end to end life cycle of a product Manage feature roadmap, and prioritization of capabilities and features of a product Engage across functions with multiple stakeholders, translate requirements into well documented product features Lead grooming sessions to maintain a consistently up-to-date backlog of clearly defined features/stories Fully document product features and capabilities in JIRA, ensuring all stories have acceptance criteria that is clear and can be measured Collaborate across teams and with architecture and solutions leaders, to identify the best technical solution for a feature or capability that meets the needs of the clients Basic Qualifications Bachelors degree in Software Development, Product Management, or equivalent experience required Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience in the technology or media industry Minimum 1+ years experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills Minimum 1+ years experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and strong formal presentation abilities Expertise in the SDLC process, with a focus on scoping, iteration planning, user story and acceptance criteria writing, rollout management Microservices experience API experience Natural problem solver, who is adaptable in a fast-paced environment and is highly collaborative Desired Characteristics Minimum 1+ years product management experience in media, gathering client requirements, writing product and/or technical specifications, working with development teams, and managing product roadmaps as well as launches At least 2 years of direct client engagement experience Experience in Television/Broadcast, Media, Technology, or related field Experience with Agile methodology Experience with using Jira or a similar system to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress Keywords: |
