I have following requirement, please reply me back with profile along with rate expectation Oracle DBA Exp- 7+ Location Raleigh, NC (Onsite but initially Remote and Local candidate only) Client- State of NC Visa-USC, GC, H4EAD, GC EAD Job Description : The client requires a Senior Applications DBA to support the migration and development of various applications for North Carolina Families Accessing Services through Technology. The client requires a Senior Applications DBA to support migration of Oracle database effort from on-prem to AWS cloud and design/development of various applications in AWS Cloud. Primary responsibilities include managing the application schema, design, and extensions within the database for development, test, and production environments for very large Oracle database on Linux platform. The responsibilities also include database technical support, performance tuning, application administration and consulting, and providing support for Oracle, Oracle Data guard, Oracle Golden Gate. This resource will serve in a key role in the creation of database migration plans from on-Prem to AWS, participate in the development of procedures for effective database use and ensuring standards are met. Other duties include working with developers to identify and refine data requirements, database design, database migration planning, and configuration, performing backup and recovery, monitoring database performance, and reorganizing database structures as needed, and creation and modification of test and production data, base schemas. This role is also required to provide technical leadership in data archiving, data extract (full copy or subset) from production region to non-production region, and data masking/de-identification of the extract data. Skill:- Demonstrable skills in designing schema, access patterns, locking strategy, SQL development, and tuning Oracle Databases in an enterprise environment. Modifying the database structure, creation and update to existing database objects per application needs Experience in configuring, monitoring, and Cache management for Oracle database servers. Strong experience in allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for the database system. Experience in supporting and implementing Oracle Golden Gate. Must have experience in implementing and supporting Oracle on AWS including RDS Experience authoring code in SQL, PL/SQL on Unix/Linux. Proficiency in one or more shell scripting languages. Hands-on experience enrolling users and maintaining system security, Controlling user access to the database, Locking down host access. Monitoring performance metrics, response times, and request rates. Designing and implementing backup/restore service and disaster recovery (DR) solutions on AWS cloud. Experience with installing, upgrading, and patching the software that powers the database (Oracle). Strong experience in data archiving solution for large oracle database. Experience with data masking/de-identification of production data for non-production usage. Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Experience with advanced security and Oracle DataGuard replication. Participate in on-call rotation and weekend work. Thanks & Regards!
