Job Summary: As a UI/UX Designer (Graphic Artist - Level 4), you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of the State of Connecticut's digital government services. Working closely with a cross-functional project team, your main responsibility will be to design and implement user-centric service, graphic, and website designs for various new and ongoing projects. Your creative ideas, attention to detail, and proficiency in design and development methodologies will be instrumental in improving the digital products and services provided by the state. Qualifications: Proficient experience (4-6 years) in Adobe Photoshop and User Experience Design (UX). Proficiency (4-6 years) in Digital Skills Training Design. Minimum of 5 years of experience in User-Centered Service Design with relevant use cases. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Website & Graphic Design with a portfolio of real-time projects. At least 3 years of experience in User Acceptance Testing and knowledge of best practices. At least 3 years of experience working with enterprise-scale digital platforms and Agile development methodology. Associate degree or higher in UI/UX design, HCI design, graphic design, web design, or web development preferred. Preferred 1 year of user-centered design, user research and analytics, and experience with customer relationships management platforms such as Salesforce and web content management platforms like Sitecore Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong expertise in UI/UX design, web design, and graphic design principles. Familiarity with HTML 5, Bootstrap 4.0+, CSS 3, and Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop). Proficiency in Zeplin, Sketch, and Miro for wireframing, prototyping, and mock-up creation. Understanding of social media management and content creation. Knowledge of image and video optimization for online media and responsive design. Ability to work effectively in an Agile development process. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
