CyberLife is one of most important Life Insurance Software products of Computer Sciences Corporation. CyberLife has a very large customer base in the USA & is being used by some of the top Life Insurance companies. CyberLife automates the processing of individual life, annuity and health products from application processing through death claim or final payout of the contract. Cyberlife administers over 35 million Life insurance policies throughout their complete Lifecycle for Genworth Financials. Genworth LAMPS project involved addressing CyberlifeTM post conversion issues, making enhancements to CyberlifeTM system, to implement changes in business processes, report creations, developing Interfaces for various other subsystems and 24x7 production support monitoring & activities. Responsibilities: Gather, develop, and maintain various business requirements from initial phase to final implementation. Collaborate and Maintain peer relationship with cross functional technology, solutions and business users to support effective implementations. Effectively prioritize development efforts with other system initiatives to effectively implement projects. Demonstrate knowledge in programming techniques, estimation, system analysis, unit testing and documentation standards. Ability to work from technical and functional specifications to develop system enhancements, conversions and interfaces with multiple application/systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot production problems keeping SLA impacts at a minimal. Perform administrative duties in conjunction with the departmental requirements (participate in meetings, respond to correspondence in a timely manner, provide status updates, review/update/submit tasks, participate in change management activities). Create technical & functional specification documents. Responsible to prioritize, meet deadlines, and add value to a project team by acting as a contributing member. Created three Test environments for establishing parallel testing of various deployments. Implement MCRs, which involves Coding, Review, Unit Testing and Defect Fixing. Conduct detailed impact analysis by interacting with various inter-dependent teams and users. Design and test unit Test Case/Scenarios. Also assist in integration/system/user acceptance testing. Work with Release management team for release coordination. Oversee day-to-day technical operations for the analysis, design, development, testing, installation, and maintenance of application. Generate ADHOC reports as per business requirement. Conduct knowledge transfer, reviews and Quality checks on the deliverables. Work coordination with offshore, onsite, QA, scheduling, change management, business, actuaries, primary users and Cross functional teams. Provide 24x7 Production Support monitoring and activities involving cycle monitoring, performance monitoring and improvements, resolution to abends, tickets & incidents, handling business concerns and communications, handling cross-dependency concerns and communications. Implemented iCOMPARE tool to compare the changes between 1907 and 1101 cyber life versions, its an Value Innovation tool during Cyber Life Upgrade in Genworth Financials. Achievements & Awards: PAT ON THE BACK award for outstanding performance in iCOMPARE project. Client Appreciation for outstanding performance in iCOMPARETOOL project. Received OUTSTANDING ratings consistently for 3 years in iGATE and 2 years in Lincoln financial Group. Published documents on Cobol,VSAM, JCL, DISP in DOCUMINT..
