Program Manager 

Location: Remote

Interview: Phone + Skype

Job description: Work across Compass UX researchers and customers to ensure the success of research projects and events

Schedule research interviews and events, based on customer and researcher availability

Communicate essential information to Compass customers about the research projects/events in which they will be participating

Assist with other backoffice program logistics, such as customer onboarding to the Compass program

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage ones time.

Basic knowledge of research project processes.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.

1-2 years experience minimum in a project management or related role

UX research knowledge or experience a plus

 Years of Experience Required - They are looking for specifically 0-4 years of experience. Project management, attention to detail, tracking and status follow up, administrative experience, customer service & administrative experience, scheduling/calendaring experience.

Degrees or certifications required Yes, Bachelors degree

Disqualifiers - If they work as a PM in a technical role. Does not want to see a technology background candidate.

Best vs. Average - Demonstrated ability to manage projects of moderate complexity and working with others. Being able to successfully lead or contribute to a group project and have experience around customer focus. Customer mindset is extremely important and must be very mindful of that. The pace is very intense so having the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment is important and managing this complexity and volume without being overwhelmed.

Performance indicators - This will be subjectively measured. Making sure deadlines are met, subjective feedback from peers on quality of interaction, responsiveness, kindness, and growth mindset. Are they ablet o take feedback and deliver on a constructive and positive way. Can they improve based on what theyve learned.

1. Familiarity with Microsoft office tools (Specifically Microsoft excel and keeping track of quantitative & qualitative information) 2+ years of experience

2. Written communication skills writing emails/IMs to customers, stakeholders, & team members

3. Project Management demonstrate whether its academic or workplace 2-3+ years of experience
