As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data applications and infrastructure, enabling effective data processing, storage, and analysis. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design efficient data pipelines. Implement and maintain data solutions using technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, Kubernetes, Kafka, lake houses, Delta lake, and Object stores like AWS S3/Azure Blob. Optimize and tune data pipelines to ensure high performance and reliability. Develop data processing workflows and ETL jobs to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the data platform. Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all data processes and systems. Support and troubleshoot data-related issues, identifying root causes and implementing timely solutions. Create and maintain documentation for data processes, pipelines, and architecture. Collaborate with the Data Science team to integrate machine learning models into data applications. Implement self-service reporting and analytics capabilities for end-users. Work on Microservices and API development to enhance data accessibility and usability. Requirements Minimum 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong background in data application development. Proficiency in Databricks, Snowflake, Airflow, Kubernetes, Kafka, lake houses, Delta lake, and Object stores like AWS S3/Azure Blob. Solid understanding of data processing concepts and ETL methodologies. Familiarity with self-service reporting and analytics tools. Knowledge of machine learning concepts and the ability to integrate machine learning models into data applications. Experience with Microservices and API development is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team and with stakeholders.
