As the Workday Data Lead - Financials, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of finance data from multiple sources into the Workday platform. This is a mid-senior level position that requires strong technical skills and a comprehensive understanding of data management practices in the finance domain. Required Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Workday HCM and Financials modules, with a specific focus on finance data management. Proficiency in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools and data integration methodologies. Experience with finance data sources, such as ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), financial data warehouses, and reporting tools. Strong understanding of data governance principles and data quality management. Advanced skills in data mapping, data modeling, and data transformation techniques. Familiarity with finance-related data formats, standards, and protocols (e.g., CSV, XML, JSON). Ability to analyze and troubleshoot data-related issues and implement data validation rules. Knowledge of SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation. Experience with data migration projects, including data cleansing and reconciliation processes. Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Workday data management, with a focus on finance data integration. Workday certification in Financial Management is preferred but not mandatory.
