Experience in Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices. Strong technical foundation in several of the following: Linux (RedHat) and Windows, networking including FW and Load Balancing, NAS, etc. Virtualization (VMWare, Xen, KVM, VirtualBox). SCM tools and Infrastructure automation 3+ years (Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible). Build tools (Maven, Ant, NAnt, MSBuild, Rake, GNU Make). Continuous integration tools (Bamboo, Bitbucket, Github). Application servers, servlet containers, and web servers (WebSphere, Microsoft IIS). Minimum of 2 years of experience integrating observability solutions with a presentation and logging tool implementation like Grafana, Prometheus, and Splunk Strong desire to learn new technologies and be a catalyst for change Passion for problem solving and developing solutions using technology. A DevOps and self-starter mindset. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience. Conducts engineering work in improving the reliability of product or process to perform as expected for a defined time period. Responsibilities Analyzing and resolving application issues in production reported via MyIT or other channels. Supporting software delivery release activity including deployments in all environments, development of deployment pipelines, deployment scripts. Documenting Resolutions in Schwabs Knowledge Article System. Developing and enhance monitoring dashboards, and alerts process to increase availability of the application. Improving Production Readiness process to ensure the team is ready to support features deployed to production. Working with Team Lead (Sr. Staff level) to design and implement process improvement of our Production Services and Operations processes.
