From: Karthik abaka, Yochana [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Job Summary: The UAT Test Lead will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the business testing (UAT) activities on a project. The Test Lead would work collaboratively with the project team and business stakeholders on the project to ensure business testing is successful and meets the needs laid down for the project. Work with cross functional stakeholders (Business Units, Biz, IT etc.) to understand overall program scope and its testing implications Participate in discussions and planning on E2E testing across Cross Functional teams Own the responsibility of managing, running and reporting on all aspects of business testing on projects under the Business Operations track for the program. Understand, implement and trace the testing process improvement initiatives across all projects. Job Detailed Responsibilities: Work closely with team to get a thorough understanding of project objectives, scope etc to help build test strategy Formulate & document test strategy, approach and detailed business testing plan for project and also identify potential risks around testing working with Cross Functional teams Understand existing business testing best practices and work with project team to implement guidelines Prepare detailed test plan for business testing on the project, using existing test plan template with team Work with teams to validate business testing scope, coverage, traceability with requirements etc. Work with teams to plan for various aspects related to testing e.g. business testers, testing environments, testing scope, test management, data management etc. Work with teams to review quality, accuracy and applicability of test scripts to business testing. Manage UAT by setting daily testing goals, running meetings on testing progress, defect triage, collaborate with team to get defects resolved. Send daily UAT status information and other relevant communication as part of UAT. On UAT closure, get signoff from appropriate stakeholders Conduct UAT lessons learnt sessions, analyse defects and testing outcome to determine areas of improvements, work with QA team on QA testing outcomes as inputs to lessons learnt. Present lessons learnt from UAT to appropriate stakeholders with clear Next Steps called out to have improvements implemented. Review, recommend and implement available or industry standard test methodologies as appropriate to deliver test process optimization and quality improvements Must have BTech or equivalent bachelors degree and preferably with MBA At least 10 yrs. of experience in the software testing domain At least 4 yrs. of planning/managing testing, having consulted with technology industry clients. Experience in Agile/Sprint delivery testing methodology Knowledge of and experience in testing/managing one or some of the key enterprise applications of CRM/ERP business domains. (e.g. Salesforce, Oracle EBS, SAP) Knowledge of and experience in one or some of the key business process areas line Marketing, Sales, Quotes, Order to Cash flow, Finance, Reporting, etc. Proficient in detailed planning and management of business testing. Experience in running meetings related to testing with stakeholders at different levels of seniority and departments Strong communication & Collaboration skills. Proficient in presentations to senior management. Proactive on reaching out to Project Stakeholders during the whole journey starting from Planning to Closure and highlighting Accomplishments, Issues / Risks and Mitigation Plans etc. Strong sense of ownership of relevant activities and their completion on time. Good Analytical skills, verbal & written communication skills. Good coordination skills Good Global exposure working with business teams across various Geos.
