Job Title: Adabas DBA Location: Remote Duration: 6+ months Visa Type- USC, GC, or EAD Job Description:- Responsibilities: Manage Adabas databases in production and test environments. Support multiple services and multiple Adabas databases of medium to high complexity with multiple concurrent users, ensuring control, integrity, and accessibility of data. Develop standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access. Utilize Software AG's Natural Security utility. Backup and recovery processes on Adabas. Research, identify, and present alternatives or solutions to identified technical problems. Optimize database access and allocating database resources for optimum configuration, database performance, and cost. Required Experience: Experience with the monitoring tool TRIM from Treehouse Software Inc. Experience working with the FLAIR system and its subsystems. Experience working with a legacy mainframe application. Experience supporting development, testing, and troubleshooting activities of Natural/ADABAS programmers. Experience with ADABAS physical installation parameters Experience with ADABAS logical run (ADARUN) parameters Experience ADABAS troubleshooting in a high demand production environment both batch and online (24 hours cycle) Natural installation physical and logical Natural troubleshooting in a high demand environment both production and test, online and batch.
