The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that has a strong ability to solve complex issues with little to no guidance. We are looking for someone that is passionate about security and wants to improve the security posture of C+AI services through providing quality data and valuable business insights. Responsibilities: Providing actionable intelligence and analytics that will make our products and services safer Work with various teams to identify and assess different vulnerabilities and risk in a server environment Be able to tell a story from the security monitoring data through enriching with other data sets and dimensional data Provide trend analysis, variance analysis, findings, and insights and then then work with stakeholders to articulate what actions are needed or being taken on each scenario to drive or improve our security baseline service profiles Collaborate with product and program owners across the organization to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and prioritize projects to maximize business impact Develop, implement, document and maintain various security projects and operating procedures To be successful in this role, you must have strong skills in written and oral communications, a can-do attitude and the willingness to tackle hard problems in innovative ways. You must also thrive in a team environment that values cross team collaboration and building on the success of others Qualifications: Cloud Background Screening Requirement: Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Job Requirements Years of Experience Required 5+ Degrees or certifications required non required; sponsor typically values experience over degrees Red flag if the resume speaks more about what the team accomplished vs what the individual has Best vs. Average Best: - Can speak to vulnerabilities. - Can understand CVSS scoring methodologies not just understanding what it is but can also speak to the different attributes in the score and how they are calculated - Background/degree in computer science is nice to have - Nice to have experience in vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus, etc.) - Has the strong desire and ability to learn - Experienced in gathering and analyzing data using structured query languages - Knowledge of SSL, Windows Server, Linux, Networking Performance indicators quality of work and meeting deadlines 1. The ability to write in a query-based language (KQL, SQL, etc.) | 4+ Years of Experience or equivalent schooling 2. Vulnerability assessment methodologies (CVSS stride or any of the common ones) Need the ability to assess and understand vulnerabilities | 4+ Years of Experience or equivalent schooling 3.
