They do prefer people withing driving distance. Our client is looking to add a project manager to take management responsibility for several current or soon-to-be current projects. This project manager would be responsible for multiple technical debt projects (such as tracking and reporting on progress for WCAG Accessibility improvements, source code migration, migration from on-premises infrastructure to cloud infrastructure. Required Skills: 1. Multi-tasking: The candidate will need to show the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time. 2. Show proficiency in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. 3. Experience in creating PM processes and the supporting documentation. For example, formulating a Risk Management process and creating the Risk Management Plan documentation that will outline the process to be followed should any risk to the project present itself. 4. Experience using a tool to track backlog items, user stories and tasks and assigning those tasks. Azure DevOps is preferred, however there are many similar tools (such as Jira, Kantata, Mosaic) so experience with any tool to do those things is essential. 5. Experience communicating with executive level stakeholders, customer/user project team members, and development teams in meetings as well as written communications.
