Job Title: QA Architect Location:, Remote- Prefer West Coast ( CA and Washington State ) or NJ , MD area Duration: 12+ Months Visa: NO & Opt, Cpt Responsibilities: Develop and execute overall test strategies and frameworks for software development projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. Manage and oversee the testing activities and teams, including test leads, test analysts, and testers, to ensure efficient and effective test execution. Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, and development teams to define the testing scope, objectives, and timelines. Plan and allocate testing resources, including budget, staff, and testing environments, to support project deliverables and timelines. Define and enforce testing standards, methodologies, and best practices across the organization. Monitor and report on testing progress, defects, and risks, ensuring timely communication of critical issues to stakeholders and project leadership. Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses to identify areas of focus for testing and prioritize testing activities accordingly. Review and assess test deliverables, including test plans, test cases, and test reports, to ensure compliance with standards and best practices. Identify opportunities for test process improvements, including the implementation of automation, tools, and frameworks to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the alignment of testing activities with development, deployment, and release processes. Provide leadership and mentorship to the testing team, fostering their professional development and growth. Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing, and share knowledge and insights with the team and organization. Participate in project meetings, status updates, and stakeholder discussions to provide testing expertise, recommendations, and updates on testing progress. Requirements: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a test manager or senior test analyst, with a focus on SDAT and managing testing efforts for software development projects. Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, principles, and best practices. Extensive experience in developing and executing test strategies, frameworks, and plans. Proficiency in using testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. Solid knowledge of different types of testing, including functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing, and user acceptance testing. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate testing teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex systems and identify testing requirements and risks. Experience in test estimation, resource planning, and allocation for testing activities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project leadership. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Knowledge of programming languages, such as Java or Python, is a plus.
