Duration : 9+ Months Location : Local to Parsippany to be in the office at least 3 days/ week. Open to candidates that can work in the NY office with some travel to Parsippany, NJ. No H1B Job Description : Sterling experience not required, Salesforce or SAP would suffice. Should have a retail background. Please indicate in the submittal the details of where the candidate is currently located (city and state) how frequently they can be in office and at which location. Please ask PM's for real life examples of how they managed getting a project that was in the red back to green or how they dealt with a tight deadline or difficult personalities. How they answer those will be very telling! Looking for a PM for Sterling Upgrade. This project is a major version upgrade for the Sterling Order management enterprise edition, including systems add-ons: Inventory management, Call center, and supply collaboration. They are upgrading Sterling from version 9.5 to 10. and integrates with POS, ecomm and call center. Infosys is doing all the development and support. They have 2 instances, 2 Oracle DB's (2 data centers, one in Parsippany, 11 Terabyte's and the other in China, 4 Terabytes in China). Migrating to containers. They will be doing Dev testing Aug/ Sept, QA October, Staging in Dec/ Jan. Looking to be completely cut over by Fed 26/ 27th 2024, but March 1st is the hard deadline. He will need the contractor to stay on at least through the end of March. Some budget management and tracking The new version will be working on Containers (RH OpenShift / Kubernetes) with a few exceptions, as one module still doesnt support Containers. New version would need the setup of the new development pipelines supporting CD/CI and zero downtime deployments. Initially, they planned to set up the new version in the Cloud, but the scope has been changed, and now they want to upgrade on-prem first but prepare the solution for future migration to Cloud or collocation. Sterling system has a lot of integrations with multiple other systems in Tiffany, so it will also be heavy in QA including end to end and performance testing.
