Deep knowledge of: F5 Load Balancers Fortinet Firewalls Zscaler Palo Alto Firewalls Juniper Networks Cisco Networking LAN/WAN routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) VLANs DNS Layer 1 circuits DDoS mitigation iSCSI, NFS, Fiber Channel SSL & IPSec VPN Technology life cycle management Infrastructure and technology-based security practices Application and infrastructure monitoring Datacenter high-availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity Data Center scalability concepts System architecture Experience and understanding of the following is desired: IaC (Infrastructure-as-Code) Automated software-based infrastructure management Continuous integration/delivery Knowledge of the following is nice to have: VMware virtualization NSX-T Kubernetes networking IaaS (Infrastructure-as-a-Service: private cloud) PaaS (Platform-as-a-Service) Demonstrated administrative, financial, project management, and vendor management skills.
