From: Mohit, Spar [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hello; AKS Admin Location is Plano, TX (Onsite to work on Hybrid model, need locals) Long Term As a Kubernetes Admin with Azure Cloud Experience, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing our Kubernetes-based container orchestration platform on the Azure Cloud. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability, scalability, and security of our containerized applications and microservices, as well as optimizing the performance of the Kubernetes clusters. Your expertise in Azure Cloud technologies will be essential in integrating Kubernetes with other cloud-native services and managing hybrid cloud deployments. Responsibilities: -Design and deploy Kubernetes clusters on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, adhering to best practices for security, scalability, and high availability. -Implement and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes, while ensuring efficient resource utilization. -Collaborate with development teams to architect and optimize applications for containerization and microservices architecture. -Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters to proactively identify and resolve performance, reliability, and capacity issues. -Work closely with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment and updates of containerized applications. -Develop automation scripts and tools for managing Kubernetes infrastructure and deployments. -Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices in the design and operation of Kubernetes clusters. -Assist in defining and enforcing policies for access control, resource allocation, and network segmentation within Kubernetes environments. -Keep abreast of the latest advancements in Kubernetes and cloud technologies, and evaluate their applicability to our infrastructure. -Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members on Kubernetes and Azure Cloud-related matters. Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). P-roven experience as a Kubernetes Administrator, managing large-scale production environments. -Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Instances, etc. -In-depth knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker, and container orchestration with Kubernetes. -Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and microservices design principles. -Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation and infrastructure management. -Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines. -Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack) for Kubernetes clusters. -Knowledge of networking concepts, including load balancing, DNS, and network security within Kubernetes. -Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. -Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. -Relevant certifications in Kubernetes and Microsoft Azure are a plus.
