| From: Sarvan Kumar, Rivago infotech [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Position: Firmware Automation Tester (SDET) Location: Remote Duration : Long term Project Must Have: Automation Tester, Test Development, Firmware, equipment, procedure experience in C++, Java & Python Primary Responsibilities: Able to design, install, and troubleshoot firmware systems Should have extensive knowledge in coding languages like Python, C++, and Java Should be able to demonstrate skills in handling hardware specifications Job Description: 1) Serve as a technical resource to both the team and management. 2) Handle testing, system performance, environmental and system troubleshooting. 3) Support planning the development activities. perform technical design and code reviews, mentor and coach junior engineers. 4) Work with a validation lab in supporting engineering validation test code and product validation code testing. 5) Deliver to objectives including meeting deadlines and schedule. 6) Understand hardware and software interactions, and collaborate with hardware engineers. 7) Maintain and improve existing designs and source code to help attain the goal of a modular structure. 8) Support the integration of software for Client products by working with applications engineers and directly with the customer. 9)Design support is expected from requirements definition through integration and test. 10) Investigate root causes of software defects and resolve the defects. 11)Participate in code reviews by providing timely feedback to peers in a constructive manner. 12) Collaborate with global engineering teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platforms.
