From: Nitu, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: MS D365 Business Analyst Duration: 6 months (with possible extension) Location: Toronto Canada (Remote, must be EST based) Note four (4): must have linkedin profiles WITH picture client is declining any and all who do not have this (LI must at least match CV) Description: Through your thorough technical knowledge of D365 Business Central processes, and flow of data, you will contribute to designing and implementing effective and efficient solutions that are aligned to the business goals and productivity measures. You will support and enhance the Microsoft D365 Business Central platform in this exciting role. Identify and align business, functional, and technical requirements to deliver an end-to-end solution. Specifically, as the Business System Analyst, you will: Elicit business requirements for enhancement in D365 Business Central using business analysis techniques such as requirements workshops, business process analysis, use case creation, and put forth technical system recommendations to satisfy the requirements. Design, build and implement system workflow capabilities and customizations for D365 Business Central applications to satisfy users' requirements that cannot be met with built-in functionality. Act as an SME, communicate and demo the key functionality to the business owners to ensure successful integration of software with business processes, including orientation and training of modified applications within Business Central. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Act as a liaison between the various business functional areas and the Information Technology team to translate business requirements into functional and technical system requirements. Be available to support the various business functional areas with day-to-day support for transaction questions, best practices, technical support, system navigation, and reporting needs. Create business and functional requirements for new or enhanced functionality in Business Central. Plan, design, build and deploy enhanced Business Central workflow capabilities and customizations to existing D365 Business Central applications. Support approved complex custom development of D365 Business Central by working with Microsoft-selected partners. Assist in integration activities of D365 Business Central with other Microsoft products, ex: Dynamics Technical Field and Customer Service modules. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application and data integrity issues. Enhance our analytics and reporting functionality utilizing Power Platform applications such as PowerApps, and Power BI. Assist business team members with scoping, designing, and estimating efforts on potential custom development. Play an integral role in the user acceptance testing process to ensure original requirements reflect the desired solutions and resolve any deficiencies. Prepare documents and presentations to various stakeholders outlining concepts and processes. Plan for and manage D365 Business Central application updates. Knowledge : Demonstrable experience in writing clear and concise business and technical requirements and specifications, including systems models and diagrams creation. Solid knowledge of core business processes: Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, Plan to Produce, including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Financial Management. University Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or the equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Prior experience in Computer Programming and Data Analysis is highly desirable. Sound knowledge of Project Management processes. Proficiency in French is an asset. Technical Skills : 3+ years of Dynamics NAV or D365 Business Central workflows, customization, and minor development. Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification, MS Power platform is an asset. Knowledge of C/AL and AL programming languages. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics, MS Teams, and MS Office Suite. Demonstrated capability to apply critical thinking skills to solve problems constructively. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. RDBMS/SQL understanding. Dynamics 365 for Sales (previously Dynamics CRM) experience is an asset. Experience in developing complex software customization. Understanding of SQL server database and writing SQL queries and extra data from the database. Social Process Skills : Self-motivated, able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to effectively manage time and competing priorities (ability to multi-task). Above average oral & written communication skills; a keen attention to detail. Sound decision-maker who functions effectively independently as well as the ability to work well in a team environment. Proven analytical & systematic problem-solving skills.
