Role: Network Engineer Location: Chicago (IL), 60631 Job Description Responsibilities: Please Confirm Must Have Skills (TOP 3 SKILLS) Network hardware configuration (Cisco, Palo Alto, F5, Azure) WAN & LAN knowledge (Layer 2 & Layer 3, VPN, BGP, MPLS, SDWAN, Wi-Fi, DNS, DHCP) Configures routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, Wireless controllers, and access points Network Engineer Job Responsibilities: Building & implementing network device configurations Updating or creating Network documentation and enforcing system standards Configures routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, Wireless controllers, and access points Collaborates with network architects on network optimization Provide on-call support Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, and participating in professional organisations Plan and execute the approved network design in a specific change window Monitor network performance Collaboration with local & regional IT operations to report, troubleshoot, and resolve Network related issues.
