Interview Process: 2-3 MS Video Technical Screenings. The position requires an occasional onsite presence in Hoffman Estates, on an as-needed basis, approximately 2 to 3 days per week. The successful candidate must be able to commute to this location and must be vaccinated against COVID-19. Start Date: Immediate Primary Responsibilities: Project Management Duties: The role includes a significant Project Management component, but no hands-on network engineering duties. You will oversee and coordinate with vendors and internal resources to execute a network migration. Prior experience in Project Management is a necessity. Project Specifications: The main project involves a network refresh and migration from 3758/6509 cables to Cat 9k cables (9500/9300/9200). Strong experience in routing and switching is necessary, along with a deep understanding of network stacking. Network Engineering Tasks: Must Have Daily network management tasks primarily involving Cisco equipment. Experience with Fortigate firewalls is required. Work will involve handling DNZ, SD WAN, and VeloCloud. The role will require a high level of collaboration on network information, including Cisco Call Manager, cube, VGs, Fortigate, and Route/Switch Cisco.
