Proven ability to install/upgrade, configure, and administrate middleware and deployed applications. Monitor and optimize WebSphere infrastructure, identifying and resolving performance issues. Troubleshoot and resolve system and application-level problems in WebSphere environments. Manage security configurations and ensure compliance with established security policies. Perform capacity planning and resource optimization to ensure scalability and availability. Implement and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for WebSphere environments. Support the deployment and management of java-based web applications to non-production and production environments including physical and virtual servers. Collaborate with development teams to deploy applications and troubleshoot deployment-related issues. Automate routine administrative tasks and develop scripts for efficient system management. Stay updated with new features and releases of IBM WebSphere and assess their potential application in improving system performance and functionality. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior WebSphere administrators. Prepare security documentation for cyber security team / infosec risk management. Report project status as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts. Work under minimal direction and determine and develop approach to solutions. Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, with internal and external customers, in written and verbal formats. Fast Track / Amazing Experience in managing multiple middleware environments (e.g., WebSphere, IHS, or equivalent; including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching.
