Job Title: Splunk Engineer Client: HCL Location: Tempe, AZ ( onsite from day 1) Duration: Long Term Contract Rate: $55/hr on C2C Job Description: Strong understanding of Splunk Enterprise including knowledge of the following: Provide overall administration, engineering and support of Splunk in a large distributed, clustered environment consisting of search heads, indexers, heavy and universal forwarders, deployers, and deployment servers Onboard new data sources into Splunk through file monitoring, syslog, HTTP event collector, and database connect Understand how Splunk uses configuration files (such as inputs, props, transforms, and server) for log ingestion and manipulation Utilize Splunk data for troubleshooting issues and finding anomalies/trends within the environment Perform ongoing maintenance and optimization of current deployments Compose advanced searches Create and utilize lookups Understand Splunks construction and use of managed vs unmanaged apps Scripting/Development Regards, Vignesh [email protected] Keywords: Arizona |
