The first go live is in July of 2024 for Canada and this release will be used as a template for rollouts in other geographic regions throughout 2024 and 2025. They will leverage this and build out the template to improve during each release and this rollout will set a standard for execution going forward. They are implementing a version of SAP that has been around for around 7 years so it's not 'new new' but will be new to the client. Anyone who has worked with a newer version of SAP would be ideally equipped to support this team. This team is in the initial modeling stage right now and will be supporting MDM modules such as Master Data, Customer Master, and Vendor Master. This role is supporting the Reporting portion of Supply Chain on the business side and is not allocated to support the operations side of SAP such as finance. This data is being pulled from a Common Data Layer that houses all the raw data. A Data Asset in this context is a table that is reusable to gather the data for anyone to use that doesn't require extra work and not just raw tables of data. As business requirements are continually defined, this person should be good with ambiguity and adapt to things changing frequently. This role will be supporting hands-on designing and modeling SAP Data specifically related to ingesting the data, massaging the data, creating reusable tables, and assuring that existing data tables don't get broken. This is a technical role in the capacity that they will be hands-on working with the data but functional enough to work with the business to translate the new requirements into the new system and support customizations internally. This could mean creating user stories with detailed requirements, knowing how things need to be built from raw SAP tables, and doing the initial testing. This person should be familiar with SAP S/4 HANA implementations/migrations, HANA BI reporting and data modeling, and an Azure cloud environment. Experience with Power BI would be a nice to have.
