| Role: - Sr. Java Developer-----Passport No Mandatory Client: - Bank of Nova Scotia Location: - New York or New Jersey Exp: - 10+Yrs Candidates Must Have: 10+ years Back-end Java Development/API Microservices Multithreading Trading platform development (Not just design) Job Description: Minimum 10 years of Development 3+ years etrading software development, pricing, and order execution strategies. Fixed income/Rates experience strongly preferred, especially on bond analytics, treasury note and futures. 10+ years of hands-on development experience in Java technologies multi-threading Strong expertise in messaging technologies such as Solace, JMS, Kafka etc. Strong knowledge of Microservices and APIs/ Ability to design and develop scalable solutions which are easy to maintain and support. Knowledge of SDLC and prior experience working on large software development projects. Previous experience developing Electronic Trading systems is a plus. SQL skills Familiar with FIX protocol Ability to work in a fast paced, energetic, and entrepreneurial work environment. Strong teamwork skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Attention to the details and strong organizational skills.
