| From: Akash Kumar, Sonitalent LLC [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Hi Hope you are doing well , We are looking for Sr Java Developer (CDP/Segment) , please let me know if you are looking for this role and send me your updated resume also Job Description Role Title: Sr Java Developer (CDP/Segment) Duration: It is a 6-month contract to hire Location: Westchester, Illinois ( Local On-Site Hybrid 2x a week OR Open to Remote) Would suggest the remote but IF IT IS possible to have the candidate close to Illinois Requirements -Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. -10+ years of experience in designing, building, and delivering custom applications. -5+ years of experience in Customer Data Platform development -Strong experience in Java/JEE architecture, Spring framework and building SOAP and REST webservices. Familiarity with microservice architecture is required. -High level understanding of cloud environments like GCP, Azure and various cloud architectures, like serverless, IaaS, PaaS, etc. -Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps processes. -Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming constructs and design principles is required. -Strong Oracle PL/SQL skills are required. -Candidate must be self-motivated and a team player. Must be willing to work in a distributed team environment. -Customer oriented attitude with strong verbal & written communication skills. -Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Lead and/or participate in all phases of SDLC and responsible for designing, coding, testing, and supporting applications on time and within budget. Collaborate with TPM and system architects to develop technical designs that align with business requirements. Work independently on projects and defects of significant complexity and ambiguity to design and develop efficient, secure and robust solutions. Perform code reviews and participate in architecture and infrastructure discussions to ensure applications and systems are operating correctly. Develop and maintain system documentation for new and existing applications. Estimate the level of effort to complete software projects to ensure timely completion of tasks and predictable resource allocations. Mentor junior level software engineers on best practices to support their continued development and growth. Research and evaluate current and upcoming technologies and frameworks. Participate in PoCs and help with selection of vendors, technologies, methodologies, and frameworks.
