Please let me know if you are interested in this position. Position Ruby on Rails Developer Location Remote Top must haves (languages and soft skills/personality): Ruby on Rails is must and experience with apps in production, Elixir/Pheonix required. Responsibilities and Requirements: Recent Rails experience, version 6+ , production app preferred. Postgres is nice to have Other language/framework experience is also preferred. i.e., Elixir/Pheonix, Spring Boot Kotlin or Java, Node (NestJS, express or similar), or Python for APIs (FastAPI or other). Open API experience preferred. Building APIs that consumers can understand and are documented in some way. i.e. swagger or similar Appetite for growth and learning, starting with rails and looking toward alternate solutions. Experience working on product/app teams in an agile environment. We like to take ideas and get them in customers' hands for validation and learn from our customers. Ability to solve problems. Working with product/UX/engineering to take a problem and turn it into a solution we want to get into the customer's hands. Teams are relatively small and move fast. Comfortable working with a small team. We also have broader communities of practice for opportunities to work with more engineers across teams. We have daily deployed with feature flagging to control releases. Ability to debug and use data to inform technical decisions. Working with Kubernetes and/or docker is nice to have.
