(Next gen firewalls) o Strong preference for candidates who have any knowledge or understanding of CyberArk Stand out preferences: o Strong understanding of network infrastructure o Familiar with Cloud service and Technology infrastructure o Palo Alto related certifications We are currently looking for a Network Security Engineering Professional to join our Security Perimeter team within the Enterprise Network Services of the Information Technology Division. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering and automation of Firewall/Web Application Firewall on-prem and in the cloud. Your day-to-day tasks will include automation through scripting, company-wide new application implementation, and other secure perimeter activities for the Freddie Mac infrastructure and applications across multi-site enterprise cloud and data center environments. You'll also participate in a bi-monthly on-call rotation and assist with troubleshooting firewall tickets. To qualify for this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in information technology, engineering, computer science, related field, or equivalent experience. You should have at least 4 years of professional IT experience with implementation and administration of any firewalls and other secure perimeter. In addition, a working knowledge of Palo Alto Networks products, with a focus on Next-Generation Firewall and some comparative technologies; Continuous technical development is required. You should also have proficiency in scripting/programming languages Python, Perl, YAML, powershell and added advantage on Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, Linux skills, experience with Networking and troubleshooting, ability to prioritize work without management direction and provide clear, documented status updates to the management and the team, advanced problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under tight deadlines, experience in supporting encryption and/or security appliance devices. Preferred skills include a strong understanding of network infrastructure, familiarity with Cloud service and Technology infrastructure, critical thinking of status quo, proactive, self-motivated learner with strong drive to achieve personal goals, ability to work with remote teams.
