This role is for Mobile IT, which supports front-end customer-facing and agent-facing applications. This is not an analytics or reporting, or data warehousing architect role . JOB SCOPE Hands on Data Architect with Data Modelling experience will be responsible for end-to-end vision on how a logical design will translate to one or more data repositories and how the data will flow through the stages involved. The architect will need to be able to address issues of data migration, validation, cleanup, and mapping, modeling and maintaining the data dictionaries. Oversee quality control, architecture, and design review. Develop, review, enhance, and support business applications. Provide architecture support on all new enterprise projects and major enhancements. Support performance tuning of oracle/mongo platform. Provide recommendations and standards on Proof of Concept (POC) work on Mobile IT strategic initiatives. Design and develop road maps for applications to align development plans and ensure effective integration among application systems, databases and overall infrastructure. Support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience. Provide technical direction and solutions to architectural, development, and operational teams. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Designs, models, documents, and guides the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for complex applications. Design and develop data models that capture and represent complex data relationships, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and scalability. Performs logical and physical data modeling, designs relational database models and creates physical data models from logical data models on Erwin. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to identify data modeling needs and translate them into effective solutions. Perform data profiling and analysis to understand data relationships, data dependencies, and data integration requirements. Define and enforce data modeling best practices, standards, and guidelines, including model management and version control, to ensure consistency and maintainability across the enterprise data architecture. Participate in data governance activities, including data lineage, data dictionary management, and metadata management. Facilitate the creation & migration of data objects (DDL) across Development/Quality Assurance/Production Create standards and/or do modeling to monitor and enhance capacity and performance. Communicates with technical, applications, and operational staff, in order to design an optimal database architecture (performance, accessibility, backup, and recovery plan). Analyzes and makes recommendations for improvements to existing software regarding database performance, stability, usability and scalability. Analyze existing data sources and identify opportunities for consolidation, integration, and standardization. Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and propose solutions to address them. Experience in executing projects in an Agile environment. Experienced with architecting high performance application data services against data stores with very large amounts of data Experience with real time data streaming tools such as Kafka, Storm, NIFI, AWS Kinesis, Azure Stream Analytics Experience with microservices architecture Publish and communicate models to IT and User Teams Keywords: rlang information technology |
