From: Anamika, RCI [email protected] Reply to: [email protected] Role: UI/UX Designer Location: 100% Remote [PST] Duration: 6+ months Visa - No H4EAD, OPT, CPT Scope of Work : Build next generation UX Design System including component libraries Each section in the Design System will have written best practices narrative as to how to use the design components Responsibilities : Create a reusable and extendable UI library in Figma that utilizes design tokens to allow for customization per different brand needs Partner with our UX, Dev, and Brand Teams to ensure the brand vision is conveyed in the design system Develop component and template libraries, ensuring theyre built to design, interaction, and WCAG AA specifications Create design system documentation providing clear feedback on usage, conventions, and patterns Establish design standards and principles accompanying the design system for scalability, efficiency, and consistency Desired Qualifications (not all required - we can be flexible on these) : A portfolio of demonstrable experience building design systems, component libraries, and/or UI Kits Minimum of 4 years working in a digital design profession, such as UX designer, UI designer, interaction designer, product designer, or similar roles Expertise in designing for various platforms, devices, and screen sizes Proficiency in creating and maintaining well-organized design system documentation Familiarity with semantics in UI Strong grasp of design theory, including typography, color, grid systems, and other fundamental principles Expertise in accessibility standards and best practices, with experience in designing for accessibility to ensure inclusive user experiences Excellent communication and collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and coordination with cross-functional teams Comfortable working with virtual teams located in different time zones and geographies, utilizing remote collaboration tools Bachelor's degree in HCI or a related design field is preferred, although equivalent work experience will also be considered Keywords: user interface user experience |
