| Job Description: Senior Java Developer (OAuth, SSO, ForgeRock) Location: Plano, TX (Day 1 onsite) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with a proven track record in OAuth, Single Sign-On (SSO), and extensive expertise with ForgeRock products (OpenDJ, OpenIDM, OpenAM). As a key member of our development team, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure authentication and authorization solutions for our cutting-edge software applications. Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions. Design and develop secure and scalable Java applications, adhering to best practices and architectural guidelines. Implement OAuth-based authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure the secure exchange of data and services between applications. Develop and integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions to enable seamless user access to multiple applications with a single set of credentials. Utilize ForgeRock products (OpenDJ, OpenIDM, OpenAM) to build comprehensive identity and access management solutions that meet business needs. Conduct code reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and optimize application performance. Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of applications in production environments. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies related to authentication, authorization, and security. Requirements: Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on Java. Strong expertise in OAuth and implementing secure authentication and authorization solutions for APIs and web applications. Proven experience in designing and integrating Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions, enabling seamless user experiences across multiple applications. Extensive knowledge of ForgeRock products (OpenDJ, OpenIDM, OpenAM) and their practical implementation in complex environments. Solid understanding of security principles, cryptography, and secure coding practices. Proficiency in designing and developing RESTful APIs and web services. Familiarity with cloud technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. Experience with identity and access management (IAM) and directory services is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (advanced degrees are a plus). Certifications: Relevant certifications in Oauth, SSO, and ForgeRock products are highly desirable.
