Job Title: Dynatrace Expert Contractor Duration: 6 months Visa: USC, GC, Location: [Houston, TX] Remote: Yes Hybrid: Houston, TX preferred but can be remote Required Skills: Dynatrace Job Description: Job Title: Dynatrace Expert (8+ years experience) We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynatrace Expert to join our dynamic team. As a Dynatrace Expert, you will play a critical role in optimizing our application performance monitoring and management processes. Your primary responsibility will be to bring hands-on experience in deploying multiple instances of Dynatrace to monitor a wide range of applications across our organization. Key Responsibilities: Dynatrace Deployment and Configuration: Lead the setup, configuration, and deployment of multiple Dynatrace instances to monitor various applications and environments. Ensure seamless integration with our existing infrastructure and systems. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Act as the go-to expert for troubleshooting performance-related issues in applications and infrastructure. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. Identify performance bottlenecks, anomalies, and opportunities for optimization. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest features, best practices, and industry trends related to Dynatrace and application performance monitoring. Suggest and implement enhancements to our monitoring strategy. Monitoring Strategy Development: Work closely with the IT and DevOps teams to design and implement a comprehensive monitoring strategy using Dynatrace. Define and configure custom alerts and dashboards as per the specific needs of different applications. Capacity Planning and Forecasting: Utilize the data collected by Dynatrace to assist in capacity planning and forecasting. Provide insights into resource utilization and future infrastructure requirements. Documentation and Training: Document the Dynatrace setup, configuration, and best practices to maintain an organized knowledge base. Conduct training sessions to educate team members on using Dynatrace effectively. Security and Compliance: Ensure that the Dynatrace deployment adheres to security standards and compliance requirements. Implement necessary security measures to protect sensitive data. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with IT, Development, and Operations teams to gather requirements, share insights, and coordinate monitoring efforts. Present findings and reports to management and stakeholders. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven hands-on experience in deploying and managing multiple instances of Dynatrace in enterprise-level environments. Strong understanding of application performance monitoring, infrastructure monitoring, and APM best practices. Expertise in troubleshooting and resolving performance-related issues. In-depth knowledge of various monitoring technologies, protocols, and tools. Familiarity with cloud-based environments and microservices architecture is a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
